Independent veritifcation of BIs

The USP states that pharmaceutical organisations may choose to independently verify biological indicators. Do many people do this? BI veritification is expensive and sometimes the results from the independent contract test lab do not match the supplier CoA. Thoughts?

Either test at contract manufacturer or do sublethal testing to confirm.
